You are responsible for your own wallet security and for obeying the laws where you live.
1. Who we are
“Satluj Coin,” “we,” “us,” and “our” refer to the independent community project operating the Satluj Coin mobile applications (iOS and Android) and this website. Satluj Coin is inspired by Punjabi culture, community memory, and themes of courage and service. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to any film studio, political party, religious body, celebrity, record label, or token issuer unless we state otherwise in writing.
2. Acceptance of terms
By downloading, installing, accessing, or using the Satluj Coin app or website — including viewing live stats, opening external links, or using community features — you agree to these Terms & Conditions and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the services.
On first launch, the app may show an admin-configured disclaimer. Agreeing to that disclaimer is required to continue using the app and forms part of your acceptance of these terms.
3. What the service provides
Satluj Coin may include, among other features:
- Live and cached token price displays, launch countdown, and growth metrics
- A non-custodial wallet view (public address lookup, balances, transaction history)
- Optional fiat conversion estimates for display purposes
- Community hub content: education materials, social links, roadmap, partnerships, verified links, and related resources
- Share tools, milestone alerts, and optional push notifications
- Voice or live-session information and schedules where enabled
- An in-app AI assistant for general community and project questions
- Links to third-party stores, social platforms, books, and other external sites
Features may change, be added, or be removed without notice as the project evolves. Admin controls may show or hide sections of the app remotely.
4. Not financial, legal, or investment advice
Nothing in the app or on this website is financial, investment, tax, or legal advice. Satluj Coin does not recommend buying, selling, or holding any digital asset. Price data, charts, launch prices, growth percentages, fiat conversions, and milestone figures are provided for informational and community purposes only and may be delayed, estimated, or incorrect.
Digital assets are volatile and risky. You may lose some or all of the value you hold. Past performance does not predict future results. Consult qualified professionals before making financial decisions.
5. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old (or the age of legal majority in your jurisdiction, whichever is higher) to use wallet-related features or rely on token information in the app. You are solely responsible for determining whether your use of cryptocurrency tools is lawful where you live.
6. Wallet, blockchain, and self-custody
6.1 Non-custodial design
Satluj Coin is not a wallet provider or custodian. We do not hold, control, or recover your tokens or funds. The app reads public blockchain data for addresses you choose to enter or save locally on your device.
6.2 Your responsibilities
- Never enter your seed phrase, private key, or recovery words into Satluj Coin — we will never ask for them.
- Verify all addresses and transactions on official explorers before acting.
- You alone are responsible for securing your device and any third-party wallet you use.
- Blockchain transactions are generally irreversible; mistakes cannot be undone by us.
6.3 Third-party networks
Balances, prices, and transaction history depend on public blockchains and third-party data providers (such as indexers, DEX aggregators, and price APIs). Outages, forks, or inaccurate data from those services are outside our control.
7. Fiat conversion and price data
Fiat exchange rates shown in the wallet or home screen are estimates for convenience. They may be cached on your device, refreshed periodically (for example every 24 hours), and sourced from external rate providers. They are not live bank rates and must not be used for accounting, tax, or trading decisions.
8. AI assistant and community content
The in-app AI assistant provides automated responses based on configured project knowledge. It can make mistakes, may not reflect the latest information, and does not replace professional advice. Community text, education links, social posts, and admin-published content reflect community values but are not guaranteed to be complete, current, or error-free.
Satluj Coin does not claim to speak for all Punjabi or Sikh communities, victims’ families, or human-rights organisations. Cultural and historical references on the app and website are offered in a spirit of remembrance and learning, not as official historical or political statements.
9. External links and third-party services
The app and website link to third-party platforms (App Store, Play Store, Telegram, social networks, book sellers, live streams, and others). We do not control those sites and are not responsible for their content, availability, or privacy practices. Your use of third-party services is at your own risk and subject to their terms.
10. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use the service for fraud, harassment, hate speech, or unlawful activity
- Attempt to hack, scrape, reverse engineer, or overload our systems or Firebase backend
- Impersonate Satluj Coin, its admins, or other users
- Spread false information about token prices, launches, or official endorsements
- Circumvent admin controls, access restricted configuration, or abuse push-notification systems
- Use automated bots to manipulate displayed metrics or overwhelm live features
We may restrict or terminate access for conduct that harms the community or the integrity of the project, without prior notice where necessary.
11. Push notifications
If you opt in, we may send alerts about launches, milestones, or community announcements via Apple Push Notification service or Firebase Cloud Messaging. You can disable notifications in your device settings at any time. Message frequency varies and is not guaranteed.
12. Intellectual property
Satluj Coin name, logo, app design, and original content are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works without written permission, except for personal, non-commercial sharing permitted by app share features.
Third-party trademarks (social networks, app stores, book publishers, etc.) belong to their respective owners.
13. Disclaimer of warranties
The app and website are provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy of prices, or uninterrupted operation. We do not warrant that the service will be error-free, secure, or free of harmful components.
14. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Satluj Coin and its operators, contributors, and affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages — including loss of funds, lost profits, data loss, or emotional distress — arising from your use of or inability to use the service, reliance on price data, wallet display errors, third-party links, or unauthorized access to your device.
Where liability cannot be excluded, our total liability shall not exceed the greater of (a) the amount you paid us directly for the service in the past twelve months (typically zero for a free app) or (b) one hundred local currency units equivalent.
15. Indemnity
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Satluj Coin and its operators from claims, damages, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your misuse of the service, violation of these terms, or infringement of third-party rights.
16. Changes to these terms
We may update these Terms & Conditions at any time. The “Last updated” date at the top will change when we do. Material changes may also be communicated through the app or website. Continued use after updated terms are posted means you accept the revised terms.
17. Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws applicable to the project operators’ principal place of business, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. If a dispute arises, you agree to contact us first at the email below to seek an informal resolution before pursuing formal proceedings, where permitted by law.
