In short: We collect only what we need to run Satluj Coin — mostly configuration, anonymous access to live data, and settings you save on your device. We never ask for private keys or seed phrases. We do not sell your personal information. You can control notifications and clear local wallet data from the app.
1. Scope
This Privacy Policy describes how the Satluj Coin project (“we,” “us”) handles information when you use our iOS app, Android app, and website. It applies together with our Terms & Conditions.
2. Information we collect
2.1 Information you provide
- Wallet address and nickname: stored locally on your device if you use the wallet feature (not on our servers as account credentials)
- Support emails: if you contact us, we receive your email address and message content
- Disclaimer acceptance: a local flag on your device indicating you have read and agreed to the first-launch disclaimer
2.2 Information collected automatically
- App usage: which features you open, settings toggles, and hub sections you view (primarily for functionality and improvement)
- Device information: device type, operating system version, app version, and language — used for compatibility and support
- Push notification token: if you opt in to notifications (Apple APNs or Firebase Cloud Messaging device token)
- Cached data: last known token price, fiat rates, social links, education content, and similar config cached locally for faster loading
- Website: anonymous Firebase authentication session and browser localStorage (e.g. cached price) when you view live stats or social links
2.3 Blockchain and public data
When you enter a public wallet address, we query public blockchains and third-party indexers to show balances and transactions. Blockchain data is public by design; we do not create that data and cannot delete it from the chain.
2.4 AI assistant interactions
If you use the in-app AI assistant, your questions and the assistant’s replies may be processed through configured backend services to generate responses. Do not share seed phrases, passwords, government IDs, or other highly sensitive personal data in chat.
3. What we do not collect
- Private keys, seed phrases, or recovery words
- Passwords to third-party wallets or exchanges
- Payment card or bank account numbers (we do not process payments in-app)
- Precise GPS location (unless a future feature explicitly requests it with your permission)
4. How we use information
- Display wallet balances, token prices, launch stats, and fiat conversion estimates
- Deliver community content: education hub, social links, roadmap, partnerships, verified links, and admin-published resources
- Send optional push notifications about launches, milestones, or community announcements you subscribe to
- Operate voice/live schedule indicators and hub visibility settings controlled by admins
- Maintain security, diagnose crashes, fix bugs, and improve performance
- Respond to support requests and enforce our Terms & Conditions
5. Legal bases (where applicable)
Depending on your region, we process data based on: (a) your consent (e.g. push notifications), (b) performance of the service you request, and (c) our legitimate interests in operating and securing a community application, balanced against your privacy rights.
6. Third-party services
We use trusted providers to operate Satluj Coin, including:
- Google Firebase — Firestore, Realtime Database, Authentication (including anonymous sign-in on the website), Cloud Messaging, and related infrastructure
- Apple & Google — app distribution, push notification delivery, and device platform services
- Blockchain & price data providers — public RPC nodes, DEX aggregators, and market-data APIs (e.g. indexers and price oracles configured in admin settings)
- Fiat rate sources — external exchange-rate feeds for display-only conversion in the wallet
- AI / cloud functions — where enabled, to power the assistant and server-side price refresh logic
Each provider processes data under its own privacy policy and only as needed to deliver the feature. We encourage you to review their policies directly.
7. Sharing of information
We do not sell your personal information. We may share limited data:
- With service providers who help us run the app (under confidentiality obligations)
- When required by law, court order, or to protect rights, safety, and security
- In connection with a merger, reorganisation, or transfer of the project — with notice where required
8. Data storage and retention
- On your device: wallet address, nicknames, caches, and preferences remain until you clear app data or uninstall
- Firebase / server config: admin content, aggregated price documents, and anonymous auth sessions are retained as long as needed to operate the service
- Support emails: kept as long as needed to resolve your request and for legitimate record-keeping
- Push tokens: retained while notifications are enabled; removed when you disable notifications or uninstall
9. International transfers
Our service providers may process data in countries other than where you live (including the United States). Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as standard contractual clauses or equivalent mechanisms offered by those providers.
10. Security
We use industry-standard measures to protect data in transit (TLS/HTTPS) and apply access controls to our Firebase backend. No method of storage or transmission is 100% secure. You are responsible for keeping your device locked and not sharing wallet credentials.
11. Your choices and rights
Depending on your location, you may have the right to:
- Access, correct, or delete personal data we hold about you
- Object to or restrict certain processing
- Withdraw consent (e.g. disable push notifications in device settings)
- Clear locally stored wallet info from app settings
- Request a copy of your data in a portable format where applicable
To exercise these rights, email us at contact.benipalservices@gmail.com. We may need to verify your request. You may also lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.
12. Cookies and local storage (website)
This website does not use advertising cookies. It may use browser localStorage to cache non-sensitive values (such as last known token price) and Firebase anonymous authentication to read public configuration from Firestore. You can clear site data through your browser settings.
13. Children’s privacy
Satluj Coin is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. Wallet and token features are intended for adults 18+. If you believe a child has provided us personal data, contact us and we will take appropriate steps to delete it.
14. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date will change when we do. Significant changes may be highlighted in the app or on this page. Continued use after updates means you accept the revised policy.
